Any chance of getting updated breed sheets or a breed standard for these guys?

I've noticed that the tail on the import lines that Pinky did is what is called a 'flagpole' style tail which you see a lot in beagles (the tail stays upright while gaiting) but the conformation sheet which I know is outdated shows the tail down in a sickle shape which wouldn't be physically possible with a high tail carriage like what is required for a flagpole.

I've been entering some effort shows with my girl lately with more planned, and I don't want to be DQed because the standard says sickle but I draw her tail upright. Can someone please clarify the correct carriage or make a note somewhere so it doesn't negatively impact any potential shows? ;o;
Updated breed sheets are on the way! I just haven't had the motivation to get anything done lately, so they're kinda on the back burner for now.

The Conformation Sheet is accurate and will not be updated. Well, it'll be replaced with a new one but the information about conformation and gait will stay the same.

Sorry for the confusion.
So... then the tail drawn on the new import lines that Pinky did are NOT correct, and the tail should lay low in a saber shape in both stack and gait like shown?
Yes, that is correct.

Hey there!

These guys do indeed need updated breed sheets, and have for quite some time. Their anatomy has changed a bit from the original standard that Wynter made, but neither WHW nor I have had time to actually update them. I do feel badly that it's been so long, and I'll probably stick it on my to-do list for this summer's DARPG stuff to work with WHW on re-doing the breed sheets and clarifying the standards (and they're probably due for some new breed lines too, haha).

I can't be 100% certain, so I'll also tag WolfHavenWoods to confirm or correct me, but yes, the intent of the breed is to have a tail carriage similar to the Beagle's flagpole. It was quite a while back when I did those lines but I believe that WHW mentioned something about one of the breed ancestors being Airedales? In which case, the tail could also represent a docked Airedale terrier's tail like these:

What I'll do, though, is put up a temporary post in the group that has a standard for any shows that are being judged/will be judged soon, and until WHW and I can get the official stuff up!
Here's a link that hopefully works until it gets approved to the group (or changed up, haha): Updated (temp) Breed Standard
Airdale? Did I say that? ...O.o
The breed's main influence is the Irish Wolfhound, obvi, but that's all I've been able to figure out from what I got from Wynter. I think the GSD was supposed to be another influence??? but I changed that to Malinois because I can. Maybe I said Airedales cuz I rly like terriers??? Idk, man.

Honestly, the group is a mess and has been since I got it. XD I don't think I've managed to sort through everything and get all relevant information where it needs to be (also when I had you do the breed lines I think I just made something up on the spot. XD).

I'll look over the breed standard. Thanks so much for making that.
LOL. I maybe assumed that from the wiry coat and tail by myself, too? Who knows xD But if no Airedale, and they're supposed to have a sickle tail, they desperately need some new F2U breed lines that I'll get to work on after finals xD
